The EMI recording of Aida, New Philharmonic conducted by Muti, sung by Montserrat Caballé and Plácido Domingo... damn, what dreamy voices.

Blue In Green, from Miles Davis’s “Kind of Blue.”

Good stuff. The best.

I didn't think I could love you any more than I already do.

I was wrong.

Gershwin’s “Summertime” as done by Miles Davis? It’s haunting, it will stay with me always.

Another Miles lover. We're a threesome, I think. Is that legal on the internet?
I have three copies of Kind of Blue. One at home, one at work, and one in the car. For whenever I wanna listen.
I've always been drawn to All Blue just for the sax work from both guys.
My friend Longineu, whom I mentioned once before, is a protege of Nat Adderly.

Kind of Blue is one of my favorite CD's. Ever.

Any Coltrane fans here?

A love supreme
(with chedder cheese
and sour creme)

(taco bell has bastardized the word “supreme.”
I can’t help but think of nachos when I hear that part of the song. )

I have kind of blue, too. Only one copy, though.

Ha! I have two copies of Giant Steps!
One at work and one in the car! Great driving music!

My Favorite Things is one of the best jazz recordings ever.

Coltrane - Giant Steps
Specifically "Naima".

Is it wrong to think that a tune John Coltrane wrote about his daughter (Or was it his niece?) is one of the sexiest things ever recorded?

Thanks to rob and PFP for reminding me I have that here at work.
