paradiddle - a portmanteau word, combining "parable" and "diddle": a statement intended to convince listeners that the speaker will accomplish an act.

Dictionary Game judges are notorious for their paradiddles.

paradiddle - the mystery of faith renewed

Although it went against all logic and history of heartbreak, the fact that Blanche still fell head over heels in love with young, offensively handsome men was a paradiddle much to be pondered.

The actual definition:
Paradiddle
  /ˈpærəˌdɪdl/[par-uh-did-l]
–noun
an exercise or sequence performed typically on the snare drum, marked by four basic beats with alternation of the right hand and left hand on successive strong beats, and begun and ended slowly with a dramatic increase in tempo in the middle.

On to the fun part..!
The Hahn's Beer award for creativity goes out to Hyakujo's Fox for the high speed relief answer.
The 'Colt 45 - to be shared with a friend' award for including fellow board members in their answers, is shared by Ysapur and Marcus.
The El Dorado 21 year old award goes to Brynn for pretty much nailing the actual definition in the usage sentence, but not the definition itself.
The Oban Award of Excellence goes out to xfox for being clever and talented.

And the Grand prize.. The Laphroaig Quarter Cask award goes to..
Brynn for the late but great:
paradiddle - the mystery of faith renewed
(Well that and welcoming me back so kindly..)

You are much too kind, sir. That Laphroaig & El Dorado must have set you back a pretty penny...forget drinking - I can bathe my way to happiness now.

For your DG pleasure:

saccade

saccade - an erotic act involving the female's _____ and the male's _____, requiring exquisite timing in properly removing the _____ from the _____ just at the right moment, which heightens the pleasure to, reportedly, ecstatic plateaux.

It was one of Dinzdale's most sublime moments when he experienced a real saccade at the metaphorical hands of the Olsen twins.

saccade – an extended period of forced unemployment

After consorting with his boss’s wife Marcus was in for a saccade, since in 500 km radius there was not a single male who would be willing to pay for such services.

saccade - dance music, usu. in 2/4 time, popular with May-December couples because the man is the still point in the turning circle of the woman's gyrations around him.

YsaPur whirled in a brilliant saccade around Dinzdale, who paid little mind, his hot, hard eyes promising revenge on Hfox for the Olsen twins' double saccade around him.

saccade (n) a traditional portuguese song of lament typically centering on the singer's recent dismissal(s) from employment.

I came back
and I did not expect
back from my break
the new coffee in my veins
and I did not expect
you called me in
so far in
and I did not expect
to your wonderful office
and you told me
you told me to sit
and I did not expect
to sit and I sat
then I knew, I knew
now I lie in the park
and the rain fills my ear
my ear that once heard
the rhythm of our photocopying
now hears only
only, only
only the drowning

saccade The difference between what you typed in a quick reply and what you then, after clicking "go advanced", modify your post to be in terms of fonts, sizes, colors, and indentations

Zero was the uncontested master of post embellishment turning in some of the largest saccades ever seen

saccade – jumping along a 15 metres trail in a sack while holding a spoon in your mouth with an egg in it.

Ysobel was somewhat suspicious of the omelettes served after the annual saccade competition.

saccade - a portmanteau word from "sackcloth" and "stockcade" -- a child's struture made of cheap material, usu. sackcloth, painted to look like a castle or fort.

When they discovered where he'd hidden out, YsaPur and Veruki took Brynn and Trish along to storm HFox's saccade.

saccade - a drink made from inexpensive fortified white wine, usu. sack, but instead of adding fruit, as in sangrias made with red wines, julienned yellow peppers, green beans, and carrots are used.

Because he had always disliked eating his vegetables, HFox often drank saccades with his lunches as a substitute. Naturally jolly in the morning, he was unaccountably twice as jolly after lunch, often capering and even dancing a bit as he sashayed past the typing pool toward his corner office, singing:

I came back
oh you did not expect
back from my lunch
the vegetables on my breath
and you did not expect
I called the client
far away
and you did not expect
from your disapproving looks
that seemed to tell
yes seemed to tell me
and you did not expect
to hear what you heard
but now you know, you know --
I lean back in my chair
and the cash fills my bank
my bank that once called
and you picked up and took a warning message
now hums only
only, only
only with dollars.

saccade – a musical term, invented by Mozart, directing musicians to play in a haphazard, disconnected manner due to a BJ being administered to them while playing their instruments. The embarrassed posterity changed the term to staccato.

Marcus and HFox retreated to enjoy some chamber music into one of the backrooms to receive their accolade for their amazing DG entries in the form of Eine Kleine Saccade.

saccade a nap in the afternoon

Harriet let Andy know she was not to be disturbed during her saccade and credited her success to daily power naps.

saccade: the heaviness of heart accompanying the contemplation of an unpleasant task.

Eloise stared out the window at the piles of leaves accumulating with each new gust of wind, and felt her shoulders sag with saccade.
