Most of my internet time is spent on left wing forums. I am a social liberal with a few conservative views, this makes me very unpopular with both sets. It is correct to say the standard lib vs con arguement boils down to your a meany and your a pvssy. I come to this forum to read the posts but contribute little because I don't want my political venom to infect all you good people. I like this thread because no one has called anyone a nazi or a commie and all are laughing and joking. It's good to see people being nice to each other. Finally I must say please do not vote for G. Bush and I prefer fried egg sanwiches with bacon on them.

Actually I've been thinking to myself lately that I'd like to ask something of some thoughtful conservatives who could entertain a question which is not meant in an antagonistic way, but that *might sound* antagonistic. So, since someone has just accused you all of playing together nicely, here's the question: I think conservatives are poorly served by the current administration. Why do you back Bush and his administration? |

...and interestingly enough, the Democratic Party started out being called the "Democratic Republican Party" (not wishing to cause any FURTHER confusion
 ).

it struck me today that there are two groups that would like to see the world dominated and led by fundamentalist religious movements seeking to stifle free speech, sexual freedom, and "evil" behavior.
