yeah, hilarious. i laughed the whole time. or not.

bad thing about this place is that if you don't pay attention to every last thread, you lose about 95% of what's going on. so yeah, gonna have to watch where i post.

Holy cr*p! I go away for a weekend, and come back to find I've accomplished something else in my life. I've created a thread on the board that has caused dissension, bickering, and hostility.

THAT WAS SERIOUSLY A JOKE. JUST TRYING TO LIGHTEN THIS THREAD UP.

I LOVE this thread. I LOVE hearing about ALL of you guys. A persons life - at whatever point in the journey you are at - is a wonderful thing. Every post has inspired me, made me feel admiration, and showed me that you guys are even more interesting than I already thought you were.

In all honesty, I created this thread because I found the topic tremendously inspiring. I have an issue with myself - it's an ongoing demon I'm trying to destroy - and it's that I tend to focus on the negative in our world and in my life. So all I really wanted to do here was open up a topic for people to reflect on what blessings they have. To think about what is truly valuable in life, to be happy about the life you've lived - where you've been, where you are right now, and where you can be in the future. When I am on my deathbed, I want to be able to say with certainty that I appreciated and enjoyed this gift that I was given - LIFE. That's all. So please don't feel intimidated about posting what you've done, not done, felt, lost, and learned in your life!

been to 36 dead shows

fostered a litter of kittens and found them all homes

had my heart broken into a million pieces only to turn around and do it to someone else

danced in my bra in the grand ballroom at the hilton in chicago only to be escorted out

drove a semi in scotland

been fired from a job

laughed so hard i've literally peed in my pants

cried so hard i've thrown up

locked myself out of my apartment three times in one day at $50 a pop

threw a glass of water on my friend because he was the reason i got locked out one time

moved away from my hometown for the first time when I was 32 because it was finally the right time

really loved someone and had them really love me back

met michael jordan

gotten in a food fight at the good old steak and shake

had love and support from my parents even though i didn't always think i did

learned things the hard way

posted on this board way more then I ever thought I would
