¿ question of the day ? for monday, nov 26th:

imagine, if you will, that the total membership of this forum joins together to create a super-band. musicians, singers, performance artists, filmmakers, an artist collective in the fashion of gus gus, if you will. who is the singer? who plays tambourine? is there room for interpretive dance?

what is your role in this super-band?

I run the laser light show.

Normally I would say there is no room for interpretive dance, but this is an unusual group, and I can think of several people around here who would totally rock it.

we seem to have all of the auxiliary roles covered. so far our only performer is β cyg, lone member of the children's choir.

I'll be that merchandise guy that sort of wrote part of a song once so I'm kind of in the band...but in reality all I do is follow you guys around.

when tunes gets here somebody tell him to reacquaint himself with his react-o-table.

shouldn't take long.. it's pretty intuitive.

^ and tunes, we fully expect you to get a better tune out of the bloody thing than this rank amateur, don't we everybody?

this is the first piece i expect the children's choir to tackle:

β cyg, you're to cover bass. pearly, your job is to highlight the correct performers without blinding anyone with the lasers. frieda, you're in charge of the comedic choreography. lukku, we need set theme. might i suggest tubes? zero, we're going to need a lot of spikes and mullets and thick, luxurious mustaches. bman, the shirts should say something like, "ba da da dum da da dum de dum de dum." work on it and let me know.

all right, BREAK!
