In our postmodern cultural environment there is no such thing as "cornflakes". Instead, you create "cornflakes" for yourself out of your language, habits, fears, and desires. Why this doesn't work for "gravity" or "money" or "sexually attractive person" is one of the reasons that postmodernism is largely confined to credulous academics who have never taken any math or science classes, but who enjoy using scientific-sounding words they do not understand in their writings. Compounding the irony, of course, is the yet more wonderful notion that such people have, that there is, and can be, no "author" of any writing, no matter how hard one may work to create an "author" out of langauge, habit, fear, or desire -- so they are the non-authors of their non-writings that argue that there can be no argument and no author and no writing, a notion they call "the heisenberg uncertainty principle", and sometimes "the theory of relativity".
