Oy!

I agree, Miss M. Bush really doesn’t seem to be in charge, nor does he appear to know what the heck he’s doing, especially when he gives a speech. I listen and think “who is this guy? He seems like some dope in the crowd who had a few beers and decided to get up and give a speech but isn’t one hundred percent sure what exactly he is supposed to be giving a speech about.

However, I wouldn’t say Bush has no idea what he’s doing. He may not sound smart and certainly he’s no genius, but all of his actions were of his own volition. Donnie and Dick, sneaky and dastardly though they may be, did not trick Bush into a war.

If Bush is impeached, then we will have succeeded in sending the unequivocal message that we don’t approve of the actions he has taken since he usurped the presidency.

I think if you wanted to get to the source of who's pulling all the strings, a better bet would be to impeach Cheney, Rumsfeld and the gang.

Plus, impeachment isn't really anything, remember, Clinton was impeached but remained in the White House.

Best bet would be get a candidate who's going to fix the situation in the ME (rather than shouting "bring our troops home" he should say, "I know how to fix this situation better than Bush, he started this, I know how to make it right) AND fix our economic woes at home.

I could get behind a candidate who says that.
i agree!

it's about the oil.

What happened to all those millions they found?

Aside from the Where's Raed blog, I find this to be the most educational, she argues with Salam Pax about issues, and its interesting.

http://riverbendblog.blogspot.com

She said in one part that her brother who has been a bridgebuilder and engineer for like 16 years bid to rebuild a bridge, didn't get the job he bid for $20,000 because he was iraqi, and the job went to the US guys for 5 million dollars. This is where Bush wants to spend the what, $876 billion?!!!!!!

I am so pissed.

OF COURSE we’re going to pay ourselves.

Seriously -- does anyone here think the war was started out of any allegience, consideration, or sympathy for the Iraqis?

HELL, NO!

And it’s not just greed, either. It’s arrogance. The Powers That Be (who speak through Bush) want to feed their Machine. They don’t care what the consequences are, they want high-octane money and power, and if some people have to be mowed down to get it, fine. Ask any of them about it outright, and they’ll probably say their just cogs in the mechanation of this mad Machine. Didn’t the NAZIs say something like that?

okay, that was probably offensive. ugharama, katzenjama.

Question

So, suppose we find no WMDs. I would still proclaim that our action in Iraq did some good. A ruthless dictator and his psychopathic kids have been removed from power. A loose cannon has been eliminated. I don't care if Dubya's motivation was to stop terror, to help the Iraqis, or to avenge his daddy. In the end, the people of Iraq and the world are better off than they were in March.

No matter how bad you think you have it, some where out there is a leftist who's more of a victim than you.

Yeah, I've read that. I've also read other things.
From National Review

And from Opinion Journal (with actual poll results!)

From the Opinion Journal

five out of 10 said democracy is Western and won't work in Iraq. One in 10 wasn't sure. And four out of 10 said democracy can work in Iraq.
