I just got my DVD of Napoleon Dynamite that I ordered off the net. It came in the right box, but there is no inside jacket and the DVD is completely blank on both sided, not even that mini writing on the inside part of the DVD...wtf, I think I just got a bootleg copy and I paid full price!!!

when I rented it it had stuff on the DVD...I think..

doesn't sound good...there should be the mini print on the inside part of the dvd telling about the formats, did you check the flip side of the dvd?

ok, I just held it up to the light and I think the dead giveaway is the DVD-R 41 that is laser etched into the very edge....

What should I do?

I just received my bootleg copy of Napoleon Dynamite from you, but I paid a "Brand New" price for it? I think it was the DVD-R 41 that is laser etched into the side of it that really gave it away. I would like an explanation. If you are going to rip me off, the least you can do is give me 5 more bootleg films on DVD, and still keep your profit.

I haven't played it yet to see if it works.

No, Shawn and I just got Napoleon Dynamite and it has so much great stuff that the CD plays both sides.

It even has the original black and white Sundance Film festival version on it. Don't worry, they didn't screw you.

You got a good deal. Watch it at least twice tonight for me

I buy used stuff off Amazon.com all the time. I only had a problem once.

I would say take a picture of the DVD-R, email the wholesaler and explain to them that you're returning it, get it in the mail asap, and get Amazon.com customer service involved.

The only time I ever had to email Amazon, it took a couple of days, but I did get a personalized, person-written email back that was specific to my issue.

i got BLAHed recently won a DVD off ebay...it was supposed to be in English with frnech subtitles available. yea its in french with english subtitles...lol...hearing Val Kilmer with a french accent is pretty funny
