I watch too much TV

Lord help me. I watched "Dateline" tonight. This poor woman disappeared after going on a hike with her dog. The end result was, the woman was murdered, and the dog was found. The killer is on death row. I found myself not only worrying about the woman, but, for the dog as well. The killer said she begged for him not to hurt her dog. He did not, the dog was found and is living with her parents now. He killed and beheaded her. Life is heart breaking.
