^ thanks for that link BP. I was just telling a friend of mine about him. Asking her if she read S's story about his younger brother, the only sibling that was allowed to cuss. I haven't looked at the link yet but bet it includes Macy's.

Steve Irwin and Jay Leno's "Ross the Intern"

(for Mad)

I never watched much Irwin, but I really like how congenial he is in this.

^when I saw that clip a few years ago, it changed my opinion of Steve Irwin. He's so kind and sweet in it. I thought he was just a big wanker before that.

And it is freaking hilarious.

an email from a security officer of the office building that i used to work in who tried to use some fancy official words. i'm still in their mailing list apparently.

translated from dutch:

Quote:
Dear inhabitants,

Our organization has been provided by the police in Amsterdam with the following:

The police have found, that there has been increasing activity of intimidation and/or sexual activity around our office building, mostly in the bushes at the end of the A9 tunnel to Ikea.

We understand, that said tunnel is quite often being used to go to Ikea. We strongly advise you to avoid said bushes and, if necessary, take proper precautions.

If you feel threatened or think the situation is unsafe, our security department can walk you to your car.

Kind regards,

Security
i don't know exactly why this makes me laugh.. might be the silliness of whatever's going on in those goddamn bushes.. or the silliness of the way the email is written.. or what those precautions would be.. armed and dangerous on the way to ikea-- beware, robbers and rapists in the bushes!

I would never say such a thing!!

You strike me as much more of a pubes kind of guy.

Just kidding, darling...your plumage is lovely and your beak has just the right amount of crooked.
