I have it and was given celexa. Does anyone here have to deal with it?

I've had it since i was 12. Sometimes it goes away for a while but as soon as something nasty happens in my life it comes bayck.

Well, the celexa made me sick for two days. I quit taking it. I ordered a therapy light. Hope it helps. I have a very good job, which I have had for 20 years, and going to work, just freaking out and not being able to think. I linked my well being to light. I get depressed when it is rainy and grey. I had three days of sunshine, and I felt great. I also started taking D3. It seems to help.

It takes 3 months to get used to medication. If you feel like nothing is worth it anymore and you want to die, they help best. Good luck

^doesn't work for me. it makes me cheerful, but not less depressed.
