Hmmm, no, he's not quite Hasselhoff, even a Canadian version... but he's not quite a comic genius either. I'd have to go with bad actor, good sense of humour for 100, Bob.

He's a B- actor that got a hell of a break in a role that suit him perfectly in Star Trek, and he's been Enterprising ever since.

I never thought he was a great actor, but I do think he's got pretty good comic timing, and he's definitely not afraid to make a fool of himself (Third Rock from the Sun). I like him much more now than I did in the Star Trek days.
