"A path without a heart is never enjoyable. You have to work hard even to take it. On the other hand, a path with heart is easy; it does not make you work at liking it. For my part there is only the traveling on paths that have heart, on any path that may have heart. There I travel, and the only worthwhile challenge is to traverse its full length. And there I travel looking, looking, breathlessly." -cc

... for too long now we have been estranged from the essential, which is the nomadic life: travelling on foot. in today’s society — though it would be ridiculous to advocate travelling on foot for everyone to every possible destination — i personally would rather do the existentially essential things in my life on foot. if you live in england and your girlfriend is in sicily, and it is clear that you want to marry her, then you should walk to sicily to propose. for these things travel by car or aeroplane is not the right thing. the volume and depth and intensity of the world is something that only those on foot will ever experience.

PEGGY: "I surely am not unfond of you, Peggy, I tell you what." What kind of marriage proposal is that?

HANK: Just so you know, most states won't let you marry a plastic head.
BOBBY: I don't want to marry it! I just needed to practice my first kiss so I don't look like an idiot.
HANK: You're kissing a plastic head, and you're afraid of looking like an idiot?

.. or take a shower, wait until your hair is half dry, put paul mitchell superskinny serum into it and blowdry then in the morning put more of the serum into your hair.

messy bun or throwing it up in a ponytail is also very simple.

or you can wear curlers to bed and in the morning just do a few finishing touches. (hairspray, frizz serum, etc)

BOBBY: Hello. Which hair gel do you suggest for my hair type? "Virgin" or "Dirty Girl?"

i can see your problem already. you really don't want to be using one of these as a hair care product.

having said that, i'm the last one to be giving advice on dealing with hair. you probably can't tell by looking at my avatar, but i suffer from some serious chromedomeia.

so you got a toupee.
you look like a clown.
you wear a bad rug and it makes you so proud.
you had a chrome dome.
you wanted to die.
you've got no style and something to hide.
