no on the medication, although i probably should be. i can't stand the stuff; only use it in extreme situations.

my question:
fave ice cream (i ask as i sit with a pint of B&J)?

the best ice cream in the world is Chocolate Flake Fromage from Murray's in K.C. Missouri. it's worth selling several precious family members for.

How tall are you?
5' 7"

Sex?
female

siblings?
One step-sister - but I met her when I was 19 so I don't know if it counts... we did have a few sisterly tiffs...and I sat on her head once. Not on purpose.

What's under your bed?
dust bunnies and an empty box from a gift I gave to someone else who was sharing the bed at the time.

Do you have a passport? (curious to see how many Americans do).
No - and I really need to get one...

and what do you collect?
books - funny things my stepmom puts in my Christmas stocking (yeah, I still get those... they're the BEST!!!) opera scores, Arden versions of Shakespeare plays, cats, condiments, spices...

What animal would you most like to be?
a panther

What's the first thing you notice in the opposite sex (or same sex if you're so inclined)?
eyes, fer sure

hair color
chestnut

what was the last book you enjoyed reading?
Sir Laurence Olivier - "On Acting"

Who's the most famous person you've met?
Leonardo DiCaprio (two or three times... his mom apparently lives in my neighborhood); Forrest Whitaker (four times - it was really kind of weird - my friends started to think I was stalking him, or him me); Danny DeVito (with his kids, coming out of a Toys 'R' Us); Ted Danson (with his kids, in a white convertable); David Schwimmer (in back of me on the way to the bank in a really gorgeous black classic car of some sort); Peter Yarrow & Mary Travers (of Peter, Paul & Mary - Mary's got huge warm strong hands and an overwhelming presence); Katherine Helmond (of "Soap" and "Time Bandits"); lots more but then I live in Hollywood so...

what are you doing tonight?
hopefully I'll be done cleaning my apartment by then... probably watch some TV... boring. My car's starter died yesterday so I don't have too many options...

What was your most recent purchase?
running shoe roller skates.... HEY! Maybe I'll go skating...

what is on the books for Saturday?
Well, this Saturday's over... I was going to go hear my friends' Spanish song recital, but like I said, my starter died. Waaah. Next Satuday I'll still be at my mom's for Thanksgiving; early afternoon I'll come back & make stuffed grape leaves to take to my friend's birthday party on Sunday.

What's the one thing that scares the heebiejeebies outta ya?
Whenever my car starts threatening to break down & I'm far from home with no money. And imminent death, of course.

What song are you listening to right at this moment, (doesn't have to be a reflection of your tastes- some of us are forced to listen to crap.) or the last song you remember hearing?
A song called "Quiki In the Pocket" by a band called Megatron Bomb Squad out of Austin, TX. Their bassist is a guy whose blog I visit regularly. This is my first listen - it kinda reminds me of a cross between when Cake does rap and the Beastie Boys meets Jane's Addiction. Interesting. (Just downloaded & am listening to "Shark Bomb" - very cool.)

Last cd bought?
Two different versions of Vivaldi's "Gloria".

what's the color of your favorite pair of socks?
variegated dark green wool

what's your favourite season?
Fall... such a relief from summer... and usually I make a lot more money. Don't know why.

Are you on any medication?
Yes - thyroid meds and allergy (Nasonex).

fave ice cream?
Hmmmmmmm..... it depends. I get sick of things... for awhile it was cheesecake ice cream from White Mountain Creamery with fresh blackberries... another is B & J's coffee Heath Bar crunch... Godiva's Chocolate Raspberry Truffle (*almost* better than sex)... Thrifty's Butter Pecan... homemade fresh peach... Haagen-Dazs Rum Raisin. I like ice cream.

My question is: If money were no object, what one thing do you wish most for for Christmas (or whichever winter gift-giving holiday you celebrate)? And it can't be anything like "world peace" - it has to be something you'd personally use. 'Cos heck - we all want world peace. Duh.

I think mine would have to be a brand-new car (a convertible of some kind) with a lengthy warranty. I'm sick of dealing with used cars breaking down.

Living the realization my fallibility and mortality. And finding big hairy spiders in my bed.

fave ice cream?

go for the old standby- cookies 'n cream with rainbow sprinkles

If money were no object, what one thing do you wish most for for Christmas?

A nicely outfited 36-38' cruising/racing sailboat for me and a J-120 for someone I know.

A think-tank/funding organization for applying common sensical knowledge and logical reasoning to everyday society.

Depends on the pizza and pasta.

Favourite Drink?

Lemon Drops. Rum and coke on the boat.

What's your dream job?

Be an Occupational Butterfly- one that I can morph at anytime to pursue what I am most passionate about at that time. Everything from protecting ocean wildlife, to funding worthy science, to painting pictures or graphic designing. And writing a book all about it. A screenplay too, if I've got the time. Specialization is for ants.

dream job?
what i described earlier. i want to be in all the arts and assist others in reaching that same goal.

either that or a stage/film director or a lobbyist. depends on which Masters i like the best.

my question:
what'd you do yesterday? (a repeat question, but hopefully the answers have changed)

me, i watched a building implosion go wrong and take out another building and had a late brunch after grieving for the destroyed building. went to the zoo, did the aquarium thing and hung out at the desert and played hide-n-seek with some meer cats. went to the gym, went home and watched documentaries all night while sketching.

fun fun fun .
