If you fall in love with the non human during the Turing test, does that matter?

I kinda hate to take the word love apart, especially when it is used by someone other than me, but my guess is he meant love more along the lines of the Philo; the communal societal love. Since this is a community of sorts, though virtual.

The Eros wouldn't really fit, less you wanted to connect that to lust or the erotic side of the Eros, which I suppose is possible. Of course, that could end up being a huge disappointment for some and a real chick magnet for others. Regardless, seems like bad karma all around. One interesting question that might raise your concerns on the Turing Test is, can one fall in love or in lust with someone they have never met, but have seen or experienced only virtually? Dangerous ground for soft hearts. I'll even dive a little deeper and add one more question to that mix. If, atom for atom, computers are considered part of the mineral kingdom, is the mineral world alive? If so, as slow as it might be to evolve, do the thoughts we type or what we use this machine for matter?

The Agape, wouldn't fit either, unless you view him or he views himself as a god or creator. Course he's the guy in charge and created this site, so I suppose in one sense he is “the god” or “the boss” of this place. Using the Agape scenario, like the story of the creative force of the Elohim; seeing some activity one of the Elohim took a quick _glance_ in the direction of humanity, everyone gravitated together and began evolving. Then the Elohim moved on to other things and let the community figure it all out for themselves. Course, even God pops in every once in a while to stir things up, just ask Pat Robertson. (kidding... kidding...)

A strong combination of all three seems unlikely. However, if that were the case it would raise a couple of red flags; fertile ground would be laid while a cult-like atmosphere ensued. That would take this “community” on the path or closer to the mind set of such followers as Crowley, Koresh, Jones, Prophet, etc.. and of course that would make ze, how you say..., a big dic... er... umm... hard charger. I didn't get that impression when I got here, but then, I'm pretty new myself. However, being a bit isolated perhaps, I'm missing something and am in reality completely clueless. It wouldn't be the first time

That said, I think the findings of the Turing Test are interesting and would be happy to contribute to a discussion if you decided to start a thread on the topic.
