i don't know if the stringing along idea is such a good one.
aren't you just prolonging the agony? maybe there'll be
some other odd job that you can find for him, and on and
on. it sounds very unhealthy and as quick and clean a break
as possible might the best solution for you to get on with
the rest of your life.

My opinion, as un-warranted as it is.

Don't string him along. If you are done, you are finished with him. Cut your losses and finish the carpet yourself. You can do it, probably as well, and when you are done you will feel proud of yourself. Taking advantage because he did only brings you down to the level of someone you don't want to be.

He was funny today. Not funny, hahahaha, but a little concerned about my recent dealings with him. I treat him like he treats me now. It upsets him.

I use to call him a couple of times during the day, and now I have stopped. The main reason I stopped, was that according to him, I was "Busting his balls"

So, now, he calls me, and I don't automatically answer the phone. Hell, I have a job to do to, and I won't drop what I am doing to talk to him.

It pisses him off.

Now, that I treat him the same way he treats me, he hates it. However, I do not have the energy to play this game forever. I will get what I want out of him, and then I will be done with him. I figure it is better to be alone than deal with this crap. Enough of my rambling.

Just don't have him do anything that he could turn around and sue you for later on.
