Woo Hoo! Brag on! That's great news, Freida - I'm happy for you!

Now for my boast: can't admit how (very) long I used tobacco - but now I've been off it for 14 weeks more or less (actually more).

I have to admit it's getting better all the time.

I've tried to quit smoking. It never works. I've determined the problem lies in a complete lack of motivation - I like smoking.

...best thing you can do for yourself. In a couple more months you will just feel a twinge of "want" without a feeling of "need" when you smell them burning nearby.

A set of six genuine bona fide Laguiole steak knives in their cuddly wooden box in a bin at a discount outlet store, marked down to $20.00. CDN! LIFE IS GOOD!

^^ heard recently that finding a bargain sends endorphins thru the system similar to that of cocaine, the latter of which is not really good and why governments discourage it's use.

I lerve a bargain! Speaking of knives, last weekend at an estate sale I found a Cuisinart boning knife for $4 in new condition! I have tons of bargain stories and need to have a yard sale, or figure out ebay!

Thanks to everybody for all the encouragement on giving up the addictive, toxic expensive, unhealhty, dirty substance. I guess our gvmt is letting nature takes it's course, given tobacco was one of the first commodities sold in the early days of the US. Maybe they'll find a good use for it someday. I'm still FREE!
