The globe and mail had a comparison of the military strength of the two countries, turns out Denmark is one of the only countries we would beat on paper... Somehow I don't think that's going to happen over postage stamp of an island in the middle of nowhere.

I like the split it in half option so that would could walk from north america to europe.

Ahh, the border runs along the 49th parallel from the edge of Ontario untill it hits the Pacific ocean. After that it takes a little jog around Vancouver island. That just so happens to be a chunk of land that is connected to the mainland that is south of the 49th... Looks like a pretty darn inconvenient place to live. Also probably one of the softer border crossings along the line. I *think* that is native treatie land in there. It also happens to be home to one of the richest bands in Canada. Prime real estate

The latest: Denmark is ending a navy boat to put up a Danish flag!

Seems the old one blew down.

I'd like to see a new kind of war over this: both sides would build a few permanent tents on their side of the strait, and once a month they'd hold a competition for temporary ownership of Hans, the Might Flat Rock. a different sport each time: darts, curling, foxy boxing.
