As a kid I decided I didn't like Asparagus... for no other reason than not liking it when I was a little girl, I wouldn't even try it as I got older. Finally tried it again just 2 years ago...OMG MMMmmmm! Now I'm making up for lost time Here's my fav way to eat it (the whole damn bunch myself):

Baked Asparagus
2 bunches asparagus, washed (lightly peeled only if necessary)
1 to 2 or so Tbsp olive oil
Coarse grained salt and cracked black pepper

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Place asparagus in a large plastic bag. Drizzle half the olive oil over the asparagus, seal the bag and shake until asparagus is coated evenly with the olive oil. If necessary, add only enough of the remaining olive oil to coat the asparagus. Place the asparagus in a single layer on a cookie sheet, season with salt and pepper. Bake until tender or crunchy depending upon your preference, about 12 to 20 minutes.

No I haven't, but it sounds tasty! Hey Zen, where'd you learn to cook? Was your Mom a good cook... learn while at home or on your own?

Tonight I am cooking dinner. Haven't done that in awhile. Here is the recipe:

4 chicken breasts
swiss cheese
stove top stuffing
1 can of cream of chicken soup

Wrap chicken breasts in swiss cheese
Pour can of soup over top
prepare the stuffing and layer over chicken

bake at 350 for 30 to 45 minutes

It is easy and very yummy

mmmm I am hungry
