"Removing her from the couch would be too painful, since her body was grafted to the fabric. After years of staying put, her skin had literally become one with the sofa and had to be surgically removed."

I have never heard of anything like this. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, JT.

So, the article doesn't say if the guy with the 3rd arm is able to move it. Does his brain recognize it? Is he able to use it?

People are so weird.

480lbs is nothing...we had a patient here weighing in at 545 when he came in and when he left he was down to 515....took 10 men to lift him

We had a 7 foot tall trucker admitted for a kidney stone. He weighed 450. I got the call to transfer him to our unit. I went down and had to push his bed from emerg to our floor. I am 5'2" and weigh appropriately for my height. I was pushing and my feet were sliding on the floor. I got momentum and he was moving. We were just fine until I had to turn a corner. Good thing he was sedated.

How fvcking sad is this? Shite! Who's responsible for leaving this woman to live like this? Someone obviously brought her food... dispicable.

The story about the woman is about the saddest and most preventable death I have read about. Where is her family? Friends? Her fvcking Dr.!??

As for the 2 guys..I have heard about them before..they are simply stupid
