Um... the deaf would surely be glad.

Would you rather be deaf or dumb?

It fills in the time between swearing at the news, and being filled with dread at the prospect of another day at work tomorrow.

would you, if you could?

Sure, but try brushing your tongue, too, when you brush your teeth -- it gets rid of a lot of bad breath odor.

It's HOW much?

Just enough to drop one's jaw at the sheer audacity of it.

Who knew that the dahlias would come up the exact same shade as the roses?

If you take care of the peonies the dahlias will take care of themselves.

You had a date with who?

In, out; in, out; repeat until you can't repeat any more -- sheesh, the things those old married couples forget!

A solid wood table, four chairs, and a virgin.

Your guess is as good a mine.

Have you ever been, or would you ever go to Pago Pago?

Haven't been, but Absolutely would love to go. That part of the world, although not specifically Pago Pago, is my goal to sail to.

Would you sail around the world and see all the tropical islands the wind carries you too, even if it meant being seasick for 2 days at the start of each and every passage?
