My moonflower never did bloom. Grew like crazy, but never so much as produced a blossom, and now it's September. It's not going to happen.

I was looking at it and wondering that very thing, but didn't have time to examine it. So I just went out and looked now, and lo and behold, it does have a few near the top of its height. It patted me on the head.

When life gives you tomatoes, make tomato sauce.

Seriously, it's better than the store-bought stuff.

Put them to bed 10 minutes later each night for a week, and they'll never notice the difference.

Pick the ripe or mostly ripe ones. Get a big pot of hot water boiling and have a big bowl ready for later. Wash them and core out the tops. Put them in the boiling water when they start to split the skin, spoon them out and drain them. Let them cool and then put them into quart or gallon size freezer bags. Freeze and use when needed. The best sauce ever!!!

Do you have a big freezer? If not, you're fvked.!! Then you have to can them* or give them away. *You're on your own there, sweetie!!!

Dear Jack.

Are there any edible plants or herbs that will grow/thrive in brackish water?

Thanks in advance
