books that have moved you
hello to all. i came across this site after googling "bible-dips", which i read about in the book, running with scissors. i have read most of the "Whatchya readin'?" thread, and i'd like to start one of my own.
here are some of the books that have moved me, this year, but please feel free to add those that have moved you at any time. i'll probably add some more of my own. thanks for participating. 1) the usual rules, by joyce maynard 2) the girls, by lori lansens 3) the glass castle, by jeannette walls ![]() |

my list: The Dancing Girls of Lahore: Selling Love and Saving Dreams in Pakistan's Ancient Pleasure District, by louise brown china boy, by gus lee the mote in god's eye, by larry niven and jerry pournelle kingdom come, by mark waid and alex ross and for the record, i thought running with scissors was the worst book i read in 2005.
