Can't shake it...

I am always upbeat. I am always playful. I am constantly finding joy in doing for others. I have never experienced a funk.

But the last two days, I feel completely alone. I can't get into any of the things I usually enjoy. All these negative thoughts are suddenly in my mind, and I have no idea where they're coming from.

Give me your best tips for shaking the blues...quick!

1. extortionate amounts of tea (with cadburys dairy milk to dunk in it if the blues are *that* serious)
2. old films - anything with audrey hepburn or marilyn monroe does marvellously
3. a walk by the beach
4. blondie

Either pick some wildflowers if you're broke (just go out to a woods or vacant field and snap off whatever appeals to you), or buy the biggest bouquet you can afford. Fill every flower-based container you have and put them where you have to see them.

Great tips so far...I need more! I tried ordering my favorite lunch (since I'm stuck at work) but I'm not even hungry for it.

Craig, all I see is a red x, no picture (this happens to me a lot here) What is it an image of?

It is impossible for anyone to read the following without being immediately cheered -

Facts on Farts

(What concerns me is that this page is actually very well written. )

Good point, Frieda, but its not my period... I'm not usually prone to that PMS stuff anyway.

And Sapphire, that did make me laugh! Especially the tip in there that suggested you keep a journal of your farts, how often, what you've eaten, etc. Very funny!

Bealeblues, I'm planning on having a BIG martini after work. However, I worry that booze might make me feel more blue. Doesn't that happen to some? It usually doesn't to me, but like I said, I'm never down!

rmr, I've never had a one night stand. And I won't start now, 'cuz I'm in love...

You are all wonderful. Just that you gave a rat's ass to leave me a suggestion or note does seem to help for some reason.

My Sephora order is supposed to be at my house when I get there. And my fella and his son are coming into town for the weekend. And I get to leave work early, in an hour! See why its so lame for me to have The Blues?! There are so many good things going on right now...

That seems rather appropriate, or rather inappropriate.
