it's like telling a secret on the radio.
Well, for starters it wasn't in this week's lot.
Secondly it cost me $2.20 to post, or maybe it was $1.10.

And in general it was about not being myself for fear of what other people might think. I said in the childhood anecdotes thread that I don't care what other people think of me, and normally I pride myself on this point, but in this instance I did care when I shouldn't have and it made me feel ashamed.

don't be too hard on yourself. But IMO you are right to pride yourself on not caring about what others think.

which is quite paradoxical, when you think of it...what use is pride if you don't care what others think ?

neither, guys.. i brought the posh one but there was no room to change except a tiny toilet-- and then i thought, fwk it.. so i wore the dress i wore to the wedding itself!..

it was an unconventional wedding anyway.. dinner was at a chinese restaurant that we had to walk to, there was no band but they had a big wurlitzer jukebox in there, things like that. it was cool

the wedding itself was wonderful, in an old building from 1600-something that's now a museum. lots of huge Nachtwacht-style paintings on the walls, tapestries, dark wood.. absolutely gorgeous.
