I have a request:

I'm stranded in Portland, Oregon, until Wednesday morning. Can someone tell me what to do in this town? I'm busy til 5 every day, then have to keep myself occupied and out of trouble til bedtime.

i asked my colleague about the damn djamboes-- he's indonesian-- he says they have the fibrous structure of apples but are very watery, but they don't disintegrate like watermelons. they vary in taste from sweet (red ones) to sour (green or pink ones). you just wash & clean them, then eat. the sour ones are eaten with a bit of salt on every bite. the word aer in djamboe aer means water.
