Dunno...not liking the result might actually make it more significant...
Thanks for the advice on tats, guys. If anything keeps me from doing it, it'll prolly be moolah.

Okay, on the condition that she posts a picture of it to the board, let's have a whip-around for Brightpearl's tat.

Nope, it's gotta be irrespective of the location or no deal.

Besides, now we all know you'd cheat anyway, and post a picture of someone else's safe tat in a safe location.

Minus 10 points. And I razor the straps on your cleats so they fall off at a particularly inopportune time, like when you're trying to snuffle the quad. That'll teach you.

Pervert. How could you even suggest such a thing. Pay no attention to him, Pearl -- send me photos of your potential locations by PM.

Public flatulence is perfectly acceptable, as long as you can make it funny.

I never cheat! Perhaps I should start...

but I googled "rhinoceros/rhino tattoo", and there are only a couple of them, clearly on men and not the style I'm thinking of.

Here's a photo of a potential location for the two of you:

Google shmoogle.
Any image of a rhino that speaks to you will be the one you choose, perhaps you have already.

As for placement, may I suggest here?

Nice, but perhaps I should get it a little closer to home.

Yah, I meant I there's not much on google that I could use to cheat as per Marcus' suggestion. I think I'm going to draw my own -- I did something on Ze's scribbler that came out kinda neat, so I might do a more careful version of that...
Speculation at this point, however. Gotta have enough to buy milk.

The question here is whether the piece quoted above really came from a home economics textbook. Is it real, or is it yet another of those "look how far we've come" fabrications? We know the graphic reproduced above (supposedly from the 13 May 1955 edition of a magazine called Housekeeping Monthly) is a fabrication: It didn't first appear until well after the "How to Be a Good Wife" list had begun circulating via e-mail, and it's clearly a mock-up produced by adding the text of the e-mail around an image taken from a 1957 cover of John Bull magazine. (The image itself even bears an "Advertising Archives" legend along its side, indicating its source.) As for the text itself, nobody has turned up the infamous textbook that supposedly included these ten steps. The list is often attributed to Helen B. Andelin's book Fascinating Womanhood, first published in 1963 to provide instruction in "The Art of Winning a Man's Complete Love," but no such list appears in that work.
