Things definitely did not turn a corner. I'm tired of climbing brick walls.

I'd like to hug and comfort Brynn and give her new strength.

^I can't relate to that.

Kind of amusing, when you think about it.

I feel too much verdammt empathy. My life has improved by orders of magnitude since I learned to keep other people's drama physically far away from me.

Thanks, Ysa, now it makes me feel a lot better.

edited to add: - at first I felt was just a little better, and then I felt really bad again so I cried, and then I started feeling a little better again, enough to receive Ysa's empathy, which then opened the aperture for more comfort, and then I felt a lot better and more resolved to look on the bright side. Ysa's note has been very instrumental indeed to my present equilibrium. My respect for her as a generous entity is once again validated. Thank you.

And I also respect ironicgoose's candor, his quite understandable lack of empathy for a complete stranger notwithstanding.

This blow-by-blow account has been brought to you by

I kind of grew up around a lot of sadness and anger, so I learned to not care. Which kind sucks but... meh.

We (my sis, my daughter, my niece and I) just watched two slugs having slimy slug sex while they were hanging down on a brick wall attached by a single strand of mucus. 10:30 pm eastern time. My sister's patio. August 6, 2010. This was one of the weirdest things I've ever seen. google this if you dare. (Their organs are blue! and they come out of the side of their heads!) Is that a teaser or what?
