best thing I got this year: membership to the phoenix art museum!
 worst gift: a ferret. i had wanted a ferret for like FOREVER... so after a few years of begging, my mom handed me a box and said "look what we got you!!!!" ... inside was an ADORABLE baby ferret. i started crying (of happiness). after a few minutes of me snuggling it and trying to think of an acceptable name, my mom said "JUST KIDDING!!!! it's the neighbors. hahahahahhaaaaa" and took it away. i started crying (not from happiness). note to self: tell this to therapist. |

I got diamonds from my father. I got $ from my grandparents. I got kisses & cuddles from Wolfie. Angel picture frame angel figurines snowman coffee mug chocolates pics of ppl's kids huge green sparkly pencil with sharpener small bottle of hawaiian white ginger body spray small bottle of plumeria hand lotion not sure what else. worst gift ever, um it's a loong story

 This little box was intended for use *during* meditation. Incense, candles, and oils that smell just like bubble gum. Hopefully that'll clear things up  |

I got a recurve bow and arrows. *happy dance* I have wanted one for so long!
My brother got a shiny white mac laptop. He gave me his old laptop, and I found out why he needed the new one. It takes a long, long time to start up. Then we try three times to create a new account on it for me. First it wouldn't log in, then the account disappeared as soon as it was created, then it outright crashed. So he logged me in on his account and after a few minutes the mouse stops moving. "Yeah, it does that. Just restart it," my brother says. "Anything else I should know?" I ask. He replies promptly, "The battery is stuffed and sometimes the 'g' key doesn't work." But that's not the worst Christmas present ever. The worst was this year from my great-aunt. You know how you get those presents from elderly relatives that are flowery pieces of junk, but you just smile and thank them then chuck it away when they're not looking? This was one of them. I expect to get them so I don't really mind, but I must say, I was quite impressed by how utterly horrible this one was. It was a wind-chime. The top bit was shaped as an umbrella covered in little flowers. The hanging bit was a string of little shapes, a hat, a shoe, and a disembodied hand. The whole thing was painted a really off olive-green and salmon-pink. It was heavy enough to be made from solid plaster. I've kept it for the sheer spectacle. |
