You monkeys are the best. Thanks for the birthday wishes. I am in my new house and it is wonderful. The 'hood is nice and quiet. I have a beautiful yard that is 90 ft wide and 300 ft deep. The garden in the backyard is huge, complete with a compost pile. I am not use to gardening, so I have a lot to learn. So, if you have any ideas, I would welcome them.
So, this is what I have in the yard and garden: Trees: Blueberry, peach, apple, damson plum, pear, sweet cherry, sour cherry, and apricot. Other things: Rasberry, blackberry, horseradish, gooseberry, concorde grape, white grape, garlic, chives, everbearing strawberry, asparagus, rhubarb, etc. I intend on roto tilling in the spring, but I have no idea about the tools I need to garden. I will rent the roter tiller. Beyond having a rake and hoe, I have no idea about supplies or anything. Hints here please. Oh, and I did not even mention the inside of the house. It is very nice. I am slowly unpacking boxes. The kitchen and bathrooms are done, everything else I am taking day by day. My cats love the bird feeders and hanging out by the sliding glass door. Lurves to you all. |
