What's for lunch?

Yours truly will be enjoying one of the versions of what is known @ the "Lunch Box Special" from one of the local (& kickass) Japanese restaurants (Ichiban).

Its exciting contents:

California roll sushi & grilled salmon, miso soup, orange slice, cabbage salad, and crab rangoon. (Aka, a ton of food for only $6.95.)

Damn tasty!

So what (or who) are you having?

Pax,
LC

Damn, LC, I thought you were having Kevin Smith for lunch when I read this. I don't like sushi, but your lunch sounds yummmmmmy!!!

I just woke up, so lunch will be my scheduled dinner w/my GBF tonight. He is making what has become his signature meal:

Salmon, baked on top of rings of freshly sliced onion, drizzled w/olive oil (sauce for salmon made out of balsamic vinegar, olive oil, chopped fresh tomatoes, chopped fresh basil)

GBF's world famous risotto

Fresh Italian bread from Sciortino's

creme brulee

I will be bringing a vegetable. Either spinach or broccoli.

pfp, tell your friend to make extra. I'm coming over for dinner too!

And the California Roll sushi isn't what I call "real" sushi; it usually consists of cucumber, avacado, & imitation crab meat. It's good, though.

It looks a little like this:

And lunch was very yummy indeed...

Now is the imitation crabmeat cooked or raw?

I had a steak enchirito for breakfast. And a handful of cereal just now.

And of course you are always welcome for dinner!

I'm going to eat some Italian food outside on a patio!
I feel a little guilty that Houston is having superb weather and Florida is getting the shit kicked out of it.

Oh, there we go, guilts gone, see ya after lunch!
