There are lots of ways of interacting here that just don't work on Facebook. If it were living, I would choose this over that, any day.

Same here <3 but Facebook is much more immediate if it's actual interaction that we're craving...things gradually died down a lot once new membership was closed here. I wonder how much it costs Ze to keep this board up? I don't want it to die.

I actually kinda hate Facebook. I think we can all stop pretending it's not just a data mining trawl. Their edge ranking is royally messed up. Frankly, the only reason I use it at all is because that's where all my meatspace friends are. They can't seem to use email or phones anymore for some reason, and nobody's on IM anymore. I much prefer old-school forums like these. But they become massive time sinks if I'm not careful.
