Manet's Olympia
 I'm fascinated by her face. For me it expresses strong self-consciousness, sadness / disillusion and some totally natural (imo positive) cheekiness / will to provoke. ~~~~~~~~ Picasso's Dora Maar  I'm intrigued by the colours he used. Dora Maar, at least as painted by Picasso, is the doppelganger of my chica. ~~~~~~~~ Frieda Kahlo - The Love Embrace of the Universe, the Earth (Mexico), Me, and Senor Xolotl  Fractal love - it's just beautiful! I miss the ORG and would like to see more drawings from you lot, so in that spirit I'm posting one of mine.
It's one of my favorite things I ever did, came out like it was in my head.  I propose that artsy fartsy photographs are game for the posting. |
