if a war broke out right at this moment between Republicans and Democrats, would you take up arms?

Yes to shoot both of them.

Then let some other parties get in there for once.

I’m all for aiming a strategic ballistic pie at certain right-wing elements. Or some of these jokers running for California governership.

So the US is in a Catch-22. Most Iraqis are glad we took out Saddam and his tyrannical regime. Now they are of course divided over US involvement in helping them establish a viable representative govt. If the US leaves now, the left lambasts the administration over leaving too soon. At the same time, they lambast the administration for being there now.
In the end, 70% of Iraqis think they will be better off in 5 years than they are now. Not bad.

No matter how bad you think you have it, some where out there is a leftist who's more of a victim than you.

70% of everybody everywhere thinks that, otherwise there'd be a lot more suicide. We can't leave. Who'll guard our oil? Even the democrats know we can't leave. No one in America can bear that loss of face. Nobody. We left Afghanistan hi and dry, and left everybody after Desert Storm and caught hell in the respect department. Maybe the dems will figure out a way to scam the oil with the UN in tow.

One night, George W. Bush is awakened by George Washington's ghost in the White House.

Bush asks: "George, what is the best thing I could do to help the country?" "Set an honest and honorable example, just as I did," Washington advises.

The next night, the ghost of Thomas Jefferson moves through the dark bedroom Bush asks:" Tom," W asks, "what is the best thing I could do to help the country?"
"Cut taxes and reduce the size of government," Jefferson advises.

Bush isn't sleeping well the next night, and sees another figure moving in the shadows. It's Abraham Lincoln's ghost.
"Abe, what is the best thing I could do to help the country?" Bush asks.

Abe answers: "Go see a play."

ROFL!
This post was two years ago. They still don't have the electricity turned back on everywhere.

We're in hock up to the eyeballs with China now, and will be for at least a generation, maybe more.
What's all the money draining into?
I'd like a little trickle-down economics over here, please, Mr. Halliburton sir.
Bring the troops home. Our presence there is not helping. We don't have enough troops and never did. And now they're murmuring about invading Syria. God help us.

Would someone please give him a blow job so we can impeach him?

Thank you.
