In case you haven't heard, the movie adaptation of "Children of Dune" will be shown on the Sci-Fi channel sometime in March. It looks good, of course, but my question is this: if Hollywood is going to follow the series, where was the movie for "Dune Messiah"?
Was that, perhaps, a part of the first Dune movie? Or was it shown & I missed it entirely?? (Geez, I'm nosy, huh?) ![]() I also saw the "newest" Dune book tonight; it's about the Butlerian War (the title escapes me @ the moment), & I believe it happens 10,000 years (or so) before "Dune" itself. It looks interesting too, and I hope it doesn't suck like "House Corrino" did (disappointed in that one). I sincerely applaud Brian Hebert's efforts w/"House Atriedes", "House Harkonnen" & "House Corrino", but I wonder if his father had intentions of going in that direction before he died. Still, it does answer some questions I've always had about the "current" Dune storyline. :: shrugs :: What do you think? Curious is, LC
