Since everyone else from the ICQ Current Events board has been doing it...

My real name is Michael, and like Doreen, I live in Israel but in the center of the country, a bit north of Tel Aviv. Formerly an industrial engineer and production manager for a large medical disposables company, health reasons forced me to become a freelance technical writer and translator.

I love the freedom being a freelancer gives me, not having to work 14 to 18-hour workdays any more... wish I had made the switch years ago.
