With the two major political parties narrowing down their candidates according to the lastest polls. What happens now?????

Democrats:

Hillary Clinton
Barack Obama

Republicans:

Ruy Giuliani
John McCain

Will it be someone like John Edwards (DEM) or Mitt Romney (GOP) that are not the front runners in any of the polls right now be rising to win their parties nomination to become the next US President.

With no clear Independent Party candidate. Will the independent voters swing the 2008 Election and in what direction?

The closer this Election gets, the more confusing things may become.
