In this thread we talk about turning points

I appear to have just graduated. I now have some decisions to make. This is a turning point.

Tell us about a turning point in your life...

congrats karma_queen

for me, two of note:

a) cleaning dead green moldy mice out from under kitchen cabinetry in the aftermath of a hurricane circa 1999. result: eventually, graduate degree.

b) buying limburger cheese at a farmer's market in Bethesda, MD, circa 2007. result: who knows?

seems like turning points for me are often accompanied by foul smells

1) Having my son (Obvious, but oh-so-true. I was born when he was born.)

2) Reading Crooked Cucumber.

3) All the points before, after, and in between 1 and 2.

i realize everyone has been posting positive things, but my biggest turning point was when my mother passed away.

there are literally two halves to my life. one before and one after that event. and very little about me is the same between the two halves. there's not a single shred of my life that's untouched or unchanged.

sometimes your choose to turn. other times the choice is made for you.
