![]() Something tells me they are making fun of TEATIME. Not sure if I'd wear the black hat with a white and red floral print, for instance. And just for the record, these are considered tea biscuits in Texas: ![]()

i sometimes used to visit the texases for REGIONAL MANAGER purposes. on the last occcasion i fell for it hook, line & sinker when the lovely wife of my fellow associate-coworker - i think her name was darlene - offered me some of her "home-made biscuits." i of course replied "o yes please that would be very nice thank you!". well the next morning, yes breakfast time, not even near TEATIME - i'm presented with about four of these pitifully bland, scone-type things. i refused to eat any more after the first one and that was when they both drew theirs coltwinchester sixguns on me and said "ok zero, hombre, you have until the count of ten to dip them thar biscuits in some o' this here slimy white gravy we made from the fat of some ittybitty sausages, or we're gonna fill you full of lead-holes, y'hear now?" i managed to get the things down in the end but i never went back after that |

^She obviously wasn't using my grandmother's Texas biscuit recipe, which makes angels weep and demons file their taxes accurately and on time.

I wasn't going to say anything, but your hat does seem to be drooping.

Uncouth! After the hours I spent making these dainty sandwiches?
![]() I'm just sorry I didn't have time to deep fry them for you, Texas-style. |

As if.
Deep-frying is strictly for breakfast, lunch and dinner. |
