They closed down the border now, I don't think its really a big deal. 36,000 people die from the normal flu. This is just a slightly badder version.

mo is home today with the regular flu...she caught it from her daughter who just returned to school today after being absent for 2.5 weeks .. she has a high temp and is unable to turn her head from side to side...she started feeling ill about 10 am yesterday.... she is not an alarmist, however in 1918 the flu killed many young healthy people which is different than influenza A.....

ergh!

it came through Utah like hellblazes last February and we were all sick for weeks. lots of liquids, take ibuprofen or acetomenophin/paracetamol to break your fever, hang in there. I found that hot mustard baths and a neti pot also helped.
