I bought an easel today! It's one of those cheapo wood ones that you have to put together yourself, but y'all have no idea how big a step that is for me. I draw. I don't paint. Well, not well anyway. I'm teaching myself...sometimes that doesn't work all too well.

Also, holy Moses. Today, I was putting out frieght at work, and some of our shirts were folded around cardboard sheets. There were about twelve of these sheets. I brought them home with me. It's nice to know that spending butt-wads of cash on stretched canvases is not all that neseccary.

So yeah...all this to say, I'm taking a few risks these days. Even if they're teeny on the grand scale of life. I'm excited. Who knows what'll come of it.
