why do men make babies then leave?

I am really frustrated in my life.

I am generally a lurker on Ze's site, as I really enjoy the supportive and funny postings you all write, but I never really have anything to add.

I would like to ask any other kids, parents, split parents.. Why do men make babies and leave?

Why do people hurt each other so much? We both come from broken homes, and said we'd never break our children’s hearts!!

Here I sit, with a toddler and a new baby. Alone. He does not love me, "never has", he says loudly.

How can i get through this? He left us when i was 5 months pregnant, and she is now 9 months. My other is 2 1/2. It has been a whole year. I am still under his thumb, as much as before.

Are there single mums out there that have made it past the fury and are able to co-parent and communicate with their spouse?

What about dads? Are there dads who can tell me Honestly, and directly, why you could sire children and then leave? How?

I honestly do not get it.

i thought i could post here, as the internet, with its blatant access to violent pornography, nudity and exoticism has played a role in his disintegration and our families demise.
