I am new to this board and I'm sorely disappointed that nobody's representin' the Twin Cities.
My favorite dives here:

The Red Dragon: worst Chinese food in town, best cheap big tropical drinks in town. Uptown Minneapolis on 22nd & Lyndale.

Triple Rock Social Club: Hardly qualifies as a dive now that they've added a music venue. West Bank of the University campus.

CC Club: great breakfast. 26th & Lyndale.

Turf Club: St. Paul, just west of Snelling & University. Do not, repeat, do not drink the well drinks.

Big V's: One block east of the Turf Club.
