Jerry Springer would LOVE this!

So one of my very good friends is in a bit of a bind. He is recently engaged and just found out that his fiance is pregnant. He proposed before either of them new about it. So it wasn't a shotgun wedding type scenerio.

A little background on this chick. Her mother is an alcoholic and she has had 3 stepfathers, all of which were alcoholics. She also has a bit of a drinking problem.

So, my friend is 6 months away from getting his masters degree. He currently has a BA in English, so with just that, all he would be able to really do is teach, and not the greatest teaching jobs.

She is now insisting on the sage advice of her mother, that he should quit school and get a full time job..just a random job. Anything. To support her and the baby. She was going to move in with him before she found out she was preggers, but now she is not.

He no longer wants to marry her.

He also just found out that one of her stepfathers molested her when she was young and she was also raped, but were not sure by whom.

Apparantly the date that she concieved doesn't match anytime they were together and they were at a drunken party with her family and her and one of the stepfathers disappered for a few hours.

I am at a loss for advice.

Please help.
