I've been trying to give up coffee for the last 3-4 years. Actively for the last year and a half. By actively, I mean making green tea that I pay for rather than guzzling down free coffee here @ work.
I like green tea. But it's not coffee. I miss coffee, and fall off the wagon at least once a month, somtimes once a week. My one doctor says I should not have the coffee, ever. My other doctor says one cup a day is ok. I laugh in his general direction, b/c I cannot stop at one cup, unless it's just to get me through the afternoon around 2:30-3pm. Guh. So my questions to you ZeMonkeys are: Have you ever been addicted to something? What were/are you addicted to? Were you able to quit? If yes, HOW?!?!?!? If no, do you worry about the effects that not quitting will have on you? I worry about it, but not to the point that I'm not enjoying every sip of my venti skim mocha. I look forward to hearing your answers/stories. ![]()
