Mason & Dixon
Surely one of the greatest books ever, by Thomas Pynchon.
Took me about five or six attempts over three years to read it. It's all in authentic eighteenth century English, with contemporary punctuation. And a challenging delight to read. Have now reached attempt number 4 on Gravity's Rainbow. It's *very* difficult. But I'll do it. One day.
