Big hugs!! Divorce is a horrible thing to go through. My parents split when I was 10 and I still try to feel close to my dad. It is hard. Here for you babe if you need to talk.

I can't exactly say anything about him hitting my brothers; one lives in Oklahoma, and the other died two years ago. Since then, my dad hasn't hit us, just yelled. Still, it's really scary, because you kind of expect it at any second.

I know it isn't my fault. That's why, right now, I'm negotiating a temporary just-in-case deal with 3 of my closest friends and my maternal grandmother.
