My summer in review.

This summer I saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers (first concert w/nuidty), the Foo Fighters (first concert alone), John Mayer, and the Counting Crows.

This summer I lost my hooptie (boo!) and found my Saturn Ion-1 (yay!).

This summer I found ADT and lost Lane Byrant, and have been completely better off since then. Who else can say they get to watch Conan O'Brien on their breaks?

This summer I fell for someone pretty hard, and then the rock fell pretty hard and smashed me to pieces. (Oh, the ever-present struggle between boys and God for first place in my heart...)

It has been the summer Becki gained new wings in gaining new responsibities, and realized that those new wings don't always mean happy endings.

Becki's taken her turn at waxing philisophical and thus frightened her mother (story I'd rather not share), but kept her religious integrity while still doing so.

Becki's begun the process of one of her life-long dreams to make a book. Whether or not it's published by a major company is trivial, but that it will be copywrighted and she will at least have a bound copy in her hands...whomp! There it is.

It's been a big summer. Becki's growing up.
