hypothetical zemonkey meeting: questions.

Imagine we finally manage to organize a zemonkey reunion (or union as the case may be, since we are for the most part completely unknown to each other).

1. What would the setting be? Someone’s house? A swanky ballroom? A hotel meeting room? The beach? A barbeque?

2. There has to be background music, right? So what would be playing? A live jazz band? Yo Yo Ma? A deejay who does song requests? Karaoke?

3. Who would arrive late? Who would be early?

4. If there was an attire suggestion, such as “dress casual,” or “dress formal,” who would follow it to a ‘t,’ and who would utterly disregard it?

5. At meetings like this, a small number of people usually take over and become the epicenters of a group of spread out conversations. People quickly form cliques. Who would these people be? Who would the quietest people be?

6. If you have kids, would they come with you? Would we be meeting the whole family? Or just you?

7. Would you get drunk?

8. At the end of the get-together, how do you think you would feel and why?

9. Should there, hypothetically, be a gift exchange? Should we write each other greeting cards?

10. How many people would actually show up?
