Ya, that's very cool.
Funny how "modern" medicin dis's simple herbal remedies so much. "thou must consume factory produced chemicals to be healed". It's like the power companies refusing to go solar so they can keep power centralized in big business instead of giving a measure of self control to peeps. Like how bout little solar panel roof tiles we could gradually replace existing tiles with...they would be water proof too....well, and a wiring night mare. ![]() Ya, ya Dinz...I'm a tree hugger. Go gag on some instant coffee made from Robusta crap grown at sea level in Viet Nam. ![]() |

And actually the only time I ever really hugged a tree was recently in a nearby state park I spotted a really beutiful old oak tree that looked like it was getting early signs of "sudden oak death"... a big problem disease for the oaks in the hills around us...so I gave it a hug. Don't think it helped though.

Quote:
"mylady, me thinks thou doth protest to much" Probably badly misquoted...from memory...always unreliable. point is... I'm betting Dinz keeps a bonzai tree in his closet under a grow light and gives it a hug everynight. |

The las time I hugged a tree was during ski vacation.
I went down the piste, closed my eyes to enjoy the caress of the wind, and this tree suddenly crossed my way. It was love at first sight. It took a whole afternoon to separate us. And it was quite painful as well. But, we still keep in touch. This is my tree, shot last christmas when I went to meet the family: ![]()
